Saks has recently contracted luxury perfume manufacturer Bond No. 9 to create their signature scents, Saks Fifth Avenue For Him and Saks Fifth Avenue for Her. The new scents are set to debut in stores in September, both created by perfumer Michel Almairac. Saks Fifth Avenue for Her is based on gardenia, and also features notes of jasmine, vetiver, and vanilla, while Saks Fifth Avenue for Him features bergamot, aquatic notes, cardamom, amber and cedar.

Gisele Bündchen is looking to make a splash at Saks when she unveils The One, the newest addition to the Dolce & Gabbana fragrance portfolio, with a personal appearance at the retailer’s Fifth Avenue flagship on July 16. The supermodel and fragrance face will also reveal her ad campaign and will be on hand for an autograph-signing session from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the main floor. The One is a warm Oriental floral mix of bergamot, lychee, peach, madonna lily, jasmine, and plum. The fragrance will debut exclusively at Saks in New York City.

Night on the town...

I had the opportunity to take in this fashion event with a friend and got the chance to me Stylist to the Bad Boy Enterprise, Ms. Misa Hylton...She's a petite little thing that took the time out of her busy schedule to help raise money for TZONE.

TZONE Foundation, is the national grantmaking foundation founded by Tyra Banks, who was recently named among TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world, has expanded its philanthropic giving to New York City and is announcing its goal of developing long-term ties within the city’s under-served neighborhoods.

The mission of the TZONE Foundation is to build a sisterhood movement among women and girls by raising funds and making grants to community-based nonprofits that serve low-income, disadvantaged girls. The Foundation is committed to supporting visionary organization that enables women and girls to achieve their full potential.

Now although I didn't have the chance to meet Ms. Tyra, I did get the opportunity to make a few new contacts and shop for fabulous shoes at Te Casan...

Louis does it all...

The iphone has only been out for a few short weeks and it looks like Louis Vuitton has already designed the perfect little phone case for it...I may have to shell out the 600 clams just to be one of the lucky owners of the Louis case...


Prices start at $120 for the Canvas with the LV Signature and tip the scales at $1,200 for the Alligator Version. Form your lines now because the Louis case goes on sale on July 16 at the flagship store on 5th Avenue...I could always use the case for business cards

It seems as if The Nine West brand decided that they would venture into the denim realm...but why????

No one pays $200 for their jeans so why in the world would they pay that much for their jeans???

It's so hard to say goodbye...

For those of you that don't already know, Jane magazine has folded. I have to say, I was staring to look at the magazine as a "must-have"...Not only did the mag contain a nice dose of Fashion but it also contained a healthy portion of brain candy...Oh well..

Miss Tina if you're nasty...

Looks like Ms. Knowles is going off on yet another clothing venture with her new line call, "Miss Tina". Ms. Knowles says that the line was inspired by "the forgotten woman," pointing out that "some of Beyonce's backup singers are plus size women" - and why shouldn't they have the opportunity to look Bootylicious like her daughter?


The line is directed at 30 - 50 year old women, the collection debuts on the Home Shopping Network this August.

This was an absolute "Must" post or me...It seems as though anaml company, China Glaze, has produced a Limited Edition Tiffany hued nail polish called, For Audrey... This color will definitely hit my toes this weekend!

The UK based Space.NK Apothecary has opened a store on Greene Street in Soho.
Space N.K is a one stop resource for high end cosmetics and skincare.
This gem carries the Chantecaille brand along with some fabulous and unique skincare.
With the opening of the New York City flagship, Space NK will also introduce several skincare brands exclusive to the retailer, never before seen in the United States. These include Eve Lom, Zelens, and Lola Kelly.

Looks like Roberto Cavalli is the next in line for H&M's string of High Designer Collaborations...I'm sure this one will fly right out the door...The line should hit stores before Xmas of this year...

Beauty is in its lunar phase...

I recently had the opportunity to check out Mac's new line of limited-edition colors called Moonbathe. The colors are vibrant with Pale, phosphorescent Eye Shadows, Glimmershimmers of white gold, Lipsticks and Lipglass of rich lunar metal, blazing golden peaches and radiant pearled plums.

I tried the following colors in the shadows and lipglass and they are sure fire winners...

While shopping in Soho, I wandered into the Bloomie's on Broadway and stumbled upon the Tracy Reese Spring 2007 Handbag Line. I can't say that all the bags were hits but this is one of my favorites. The Cecily Flap Satchel kinda has a lot going on with this bag but somehow it still looks clean and sleek. This fully lined-satchel has goldtone hardware everywhere, including the protective feet. The only thing that detracts from the beauty of this bag is the somewhat clunky hardware on the turn-lock closure but other than that , it's a winner.

That's some good water...

I have to say that Smartwater ranks up there in my top three of favorite bottled water now they've added one of my favorite's to be the face of the Brand. Jennifer Aniston will now be the spokesperson for Smartwater and has even co-created a limited-edition Smartwater label for the bottles associated with her campaign.
