Saks has recently contracted luxury perfume manufacturer Bond No. 9 to create their signature scents, Saks Fifth Avenue For Him and Saks Fifth Avenue for Her. The new scents are set to debut in stores in September, both created by perfumer Michel Almairac. Saks Fifth Avenue for Her is based on gardenia, and also features notes of jasmine, vetiver, and vanilla, while Saks Fifth Avenue for Him features bergamot, aquatic notes, cardamom, amber and cedar.

Gisele Bündchen is looking to make a splash at Saks when she unveils The One, the newest addition to the Dolce & Gabbana fragrance portfolio, with a personal appearance at the retailer’s Fifth Avenue flagship on July 16. The supermodel and fragrance face will also reveal her ad campaign and will be on hand for an autograph-signing session from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the main floor. The One is a warm Oriental floral mix of bergamot, lychee, peach, madonna lily, jasmine, and plum. The fragrance will debut exclusively at Saks in New York City.

Night on the town...

I had the opportunity to take in this fashion event with a friend and got the chance to me Stylist to the Bad Boy Enterprise, Ms. Misa Hylton...She's a petite little thing that took the time out of her busy schedule to help raise money for TZONE.

TZONE Foundation, is the national grantmaking foundation founded by Tyra Banks, who was recently named among TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world, has expanded its philanthropic giving to New York City and is announcing its goal of developing long-term ties within the city’s under-served neighborhoods.

The mission of the TZONE Foundation is to build a sisterhood movement among women and girls by raising funds and making grants to community-based nonprofits that serve low-income, disadvantaged girls. The Foundation is committed to supporting visionary organization that enables women and girls to achieve their full potential.

Now although I didn't have the chance to meet Ms. Tyra, I did get the opportunity to make a few new contacts and shop for fabulous shoes at Te Casan...

The iphone has only been out for a few short weeks and it looks like Louis Vuitton has already designed the perfect little phone case for it...I may have to shell out the 600 clams just to be one of the lucky owners of the Louis case...

For those of you that don't already know, Jane magazine has folded. I have to say, I was staring to look at the magazine as a "must-have"...Not only did the mag contain a nice dose of Fashion but it also contained a healthy portion of brain candy...Oh well..

Miss Tina if you're nasty...

Looks like Ms. Knowles is going off on yet another clothing venture with her new line call, "Miss Tina". Ms. Knowles says that the line was inspired by "the forgotten woman," pointing out that "some of Beyonce's backup singers are plus size women" - and why shouldn't they have the opportunity to look Bootylicious like her daughter?


The line is directed at 30 - 50 year old women, the collection debuts on the Home Shopping Network this August.
