Just thinking about this play brings tears to my eyes...
Fantasia Barrino made her Broadway debut in the starring role of Celie in The Color Purple on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 , at the Broadway Theatre. She became the first ever "American Idol" winner to star in a Broadway show.
I'll be seeing this play on June 3rd with my bestest so you'll get my personal review then...
