Bitten Bonanza...
SJP will be at Steve & Barry's in Manhattan Mall on June 7th at 12pm to sign autographs and debut her line for S & B's called Bitten.... See you there!
I heart Marc!
Earlier this afternoon, a bulk of fashion editors and scenesters got this MySpace message, sent from Marc Jacob's personal assistant:
"Hey everyone... Marc Jacobs just joined myspace and wants some cool friends... Add him! He's my number one friend, just click him and add him..."
For those of you interested, his likes include: "Yoga, Working Out, Dining With Friends, Walking Alfred &; Daisy, Going To Galleries. Collecting Art."
Marc's page plays Sonic Youth and his top friends are Samantha Ronson and Jenna Jamison.

Water, Water Everywhere...
Kylie Minogue is picking up where Madonna left off by debuting her own collection at H&M. Her line will have you covered this summer, with a small, fifteen-piece beachwear collection. It launched today at the Fifth Avenue Flagship store.
The tunic dresses are amazing (Tory Burch will have a run for her money at their prices) and the metallic bikinis aren't too shabby either. To top it all off 10 percent of the proceeds will go to WaterAid projects in Africa.
SHUT UP!
Word on the street is The Fabulous Patrick Robinson that just designed the line for Target is now slated to be the executive vice president of design for Gap Adult and gapbody beginning his role on May 29th!
I guess he had the proper amount of mass appeal and now he's going big for The Gap. I'm sure it'll be an improvement...
Scarlett Fever
Scarlett Johansson is the face of Louis Vuitton Fall 07 and her pics look fabulous! I can't wait to get a hold of the new bag. The direction for this photo shoot was for her to play a very familiar role---Movie Stars.
With the creative director being, none other than Marc Jacobs, who used her as the muse based on the role she played in "Girl with a Pearl Earring", she's sure to come out amazing!
Be sure to check out the ads in all the August Fashion Magazines...

Guys and Dolls,
I must boast about my new fave products-Dove Skin Revitalizer and Dove Energy Glow Lotions...These products are absolutely amazing and I have seen results.
clean and my skintone is even. This product gently massages
your face and never dries me out...I use it twice daily and love it...
I started to use the Energy Glow lotion about two weeks ago because although I am a Luminous (thanks JS!!) and radiant African-American woman, I couldn't resist a product that would make my skin look sun-kissed...I have to say my skin looks amazing! This product has subtle self-tanners and is available for all skin colors...
Try them out if you are looking for healthy radiant skin without visiting the spa!
Each one, Teach one..

An eye-raising experience
I recently had the opportunity to test-drive a brow-sculpting service at New York’s Lather Spa on 57th Street and I have to say that this experience was completely lackluster. For the $60 price tag you would think that you would get better service than you would at the $8 local spot that you usually hit up. I arrived early to my 1 o’clock appointment and was in and out of the chair in less than 15 minutes. Although the setting is beautiful, the personal consultation that came with the service and the Service Director, Shaana Melendrez, were underwhelming at best and I was told nothing that I didn’t know (Darling, you should come in again in three weeks) and there was nothing especially sculpted about my brows…I think that the next time I’m offered anything at Lather Day Spa, I’ll pass.

Tried & True
Dolls,
Hope that you will enjoy tidbits of info about 3 amazing products that I have both tried and purchased this week...
Wide Feather Headband $28 (Available only at Urban Outfitters)
This is friggin HOT!! In a matter of hours I received at least 10 compliments...This headband is too cute and if you're disguising a bad hair day with a bun (like I am sporting today) - You can easily make your Fashion Don't a Fashion "Girl, Where did you get that" moment!
O-GLOW $26 (Available only at Sephora)
I tried this yesterday and it's really amazing! The blush comes out in a clear gel and reacts to your personal skin chemistry to turn your cheeks that exact color that you naturally blush. Being a fine, young, brown woman, I find it hard to find the perfect blush but I tried it and it works and it lasted for hours!
O-GLOW works on every skin tone, from the lightest to the darkest, to give everyone a naturally gorgeous glow.
Palettes for PETA $34 (Available at Sephora and Department Stores that carry Smashbox)
I tried this palette in"In The Wild", which is green, bronze and gold and it looked beautiful. I usually have a hard time with eye-shadows but this went on without fault and to make you feel less guilty about the $34 price tag Palettes for PETA are Cruelty-free, vegan eye-shadow trios that support kind living.
Includes a double-ended brush for blending, lining, and smudging.
APPLICATION TIPS
-Apply the lightest shades as a base or to highlight.
-Apply the medium shades to the crease.
-Apply the darkest shades as a liner.
-All shades can be applied wet or dry.
ENJOY AND HAPPY SHOPPING!!

Out & About
On Wednesday, May 2nd, I had the opportunity to attend a Panel Discussion during the Tribeca Film Festival featuring Chris "Ludacris" Bridges and Vanity Fair's Lisa Robinson as they sat to talk about music, movies and more. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by his presence and articulate nature. This man is breaking down stereotypes each and everyday. The 3 time Grammy winner, multi-platinum musician, actor, record label executive and producer discussed being a entertainer, a father & being an individual.
STAND UP PEOPLE...This man is doing the damn thing!
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
I know that I am completely corny but I went to see this Musical and I was loved it…I'm a bit of a cheese-ball and could not wait to see Mary Poppins pull all that crap out of that carpet bag...I think she may have inspired the Louis Vuitton Speedy...hmmmm
Check it out if you can. It's playing at the New Amsterdam Theater on 42nd Street...

Green with Envy...
The much sought after Anya Hindmarch "I am not a plastic bag" sold out in the UK in a matter of minutes but lucky for us the eco-friendly bag will release in the US in a limited edition navy blue on June 20th at Anya Hindmarch stores, Ron Herman and Fred Segal Flair in LA and will be available in select East Coast Whole Foods Grocery stores...I gotta wonder if they'll actually bag it in the not-so eco-friendly plastic bags that whole foods distributes...hmmmmm
El queso esta malo...
